Luxury Handleless Kitchen Design: PRONORM X-Line Nero Chalet
This kitchen features the PRONORM X-Line 9000 Nero Chalet range, finished in a rich Ultra Matt Black (542) with a fully handleless design system. Paired with Caesarstone Metropolitan Rough Concrete worktops, the result is a striking, contemporary kitchen with a strong architectural presence.

Design Challenge: Sloped Ceiling Extension
One of the most technically complex aspects of this project was integrating the kitchen within a sloped ceiling rear extension. Alisha’s design accounted for every angle, and the installation team executed it to a precise finish by:
- Scribing tall units to match the ceiling angles
- Custom-cutting side panels for exact fitting
- Maintaining continuous handleless alignment throughout
The result is a bespoke fitted kitchen with no visible compromise in design. It is a testament to the skill and attention to detail of the Finchley Kitchens team.
Kitchen Layout & Design Planning
The layout was carefully planned around three core zones to ensure seamless movement, functionality, and flow:
1. Cooking Zone
Featuring a BORA X Pure induction hob with integrated extraction, eliminating the need for a ceiling extractor and keeping the open-plan design clean and uncluttered.
2. Preparation & Storage Zone
A large 3077mm × 1200mm island provides deep drawer storage, internal cutlery organisation, expansive food preparation space, and a casual seating area with a 330mm worktop overhang.
3. Appliance & Storage Wall
Full-height cabinetry houses an integrated fridge and freezer, Siemens iQ700 studioLine ovens, a tall larder, and a breakfast station with cleverly concealed appliances.
The overall footprint spans 5590mm from the breakfast bar to the larder, with 900mm clearance between the sink and island hob and 1411mm from the island to the rear wall. This provides a generous, ergonomic workspace.

- The BORA X Pure flush-mount induction hob features integrated extraction, removing cooking odours instantly and keeping the air fresh without a bulky overhead hood.
